Security to be key focus of summit in New York City

Montreal, Quebec, Canada –April xx, 2010 —GWAVA is pleased to announce that Kaspersky Lab, a top anti-virus security company, is joining in the GWAVA Regional Summit New York City on May 13, 2010. Kaspersky Lab has just been named the “Security Brand of the Year” by VAR Magazine.

This summit will offer two technical tracks geared for GroupWise® administrators and Novell consultants. The courses being offered are among the most popular at GWAVACon and have been updated to the latest information available.

Track One will be taught by popular Novell Advanced Technical Training Engineer, Paul Lamontagne. He will instruct summit attendees on how to migrate a Novell system to OES and how to harden and secure a Novell GroupWise system (both half-day sessions). This is a great opportunity to get some hands-on help from a top-notch authority. Attendees can choose both or one of these classes.

Track Two will be taught primarily by Taylor Cochrane, Director of Product Development at GWAVA. Mr. Cochrane and vendors such as Kaspersky will be covering disaster recovery, security and compliance in messaging. These discussions will be in-depth and include real answers and plans of action that you can take with you back to work. GWAVA products such as Reload, Retain and Retain for BES will be discussed. Breakfast and lunch are included with the attendance fee.
