GWAVA Makes a Big Splash at BrainShare

If you went to BrainShare, you certainly saw the GWAVA booth - with our big GWAVA "eye" in the sky. We had a full house at our Monday BrainShare movie, Real Steel. As usual, we had a lot of great prizes and giveaways. At our booth, we showed a movie explaining our vision for the future of GWAVA products. GWAVA developers and support personnel taught a number of popular sessions and provided a hands-on lab. After our final prize drawing on the last day, Ken Muir, GWAVA CEO, gave the keynote address. He spoke about GWAVA's commitment to GroupWise. He also discussed the history of communication and how quickly it is changing. He explained about disruptive technologies such as texting and social networking and how they affect security at our organizations. IT departments and networks are becoming more vulnerable and difficult to secure as these disparate technologies continue to evolve and grow in use. GWAVA provides unified messaging security to help you protect your IT system from all sources - collaboration, email and text messaging. Click here to see Ken give his keynote.

GWAVA 6 - Coming Soon!

GWAVA 6 is in its last stages of development and testing. If you are a GWAVA partner or hosted service provider, these new features will give you tremendous flexibility. Here are some of the great features you can look forward to when you upgrade:

Policy-based Scanning

Lets you create and configure individual message policies based on the delivery information of each individual message. Create separate message policies based on direction, recipient, source addresses and more. Policies can be applied for messages moving through a single gateway - for incoming and outgoing email, for individual users, domains or multiple sets of users.

Advanced Multi-tenancy Configuration

Full multi-tenant mail scanning through single messaging gateways.  Segregate individual domains or sets of domains passing through GWAVA and apply specific message policies to those messages independent of other mail traffic.

Pornographic Image Analyzer

GWAVA 6 includes a connector to the Image Analyzer probability engine for detecting pornographic images. Image Analyzer (available separately) scans the composition of images and videos to identify attributes that indicate the content may be pornographic. The technology does not rely on a signature database of pre-categorized content, but uses sophisticated analytical processes consisting of multiple detection methods to reliably distinguish between pornographic and non-pornographic content.

32/64-bit Support for Windows Platform

GWAVA 6 now offers full native support for Microsoft Windows platforms with either 32- or 64-bit installation. That means you will get the best performance possible no matter on what hardware you install GWAVA.
