Reload version 3.1 is now available for download. If you are already using Reload, there are plenty of reasons to upgrade. And if you aren't using Reload, discover why you are missing out on the best backup and disaster recovery system for GroupWise.

  1. Is there a disaster in your future? Set a New Year's resolution to protect your organizations email. Reload 3.1 makes disaster planning even easier.
  2. Are you planning to migrate GroupWise to Linux? Reload can help with improved migration features and speed (new to version 3.1).
  3. Are your backup jobs top priority? Reload 3.1 now prioritizes backup jobs and has improved job handling.
  4. Do you want to use DNS names instead of IP addresses? Just one more way Reload 3.1 makes your job easier.
  5. Are your backups taking too much time? Reload uses multiple threads and incremental backups that are both fast and complete.
  6. Do you want to streamline your tape backups? Reload creates one single .tar file for easiest backup to tape and works with many different tape backup systems.
  7. Are you sick of searching for deleted emails Reload's "auto-reload" feature lets your users retrieve their own accidently deleted emails, attachments and calendar items.

GWAVA to Support Novell Pulse

GWAVA is planning support for Novell Pulse, the recently announced real-time collaboration initiative that supports Google Wave protocols. GWAVA's focus on collaboration data security and its long history of expertise with Novell technology means that communication security and data management will be available when Novell Pulse ships in 2010. "There is a strong need for security in the new real-time collaboration space," says Charles Taite, CTO for GWAVA. "Novell's involvement with Google Wave draws upon the greatest strengths of both organizations. GWAVA intends to continue our support of this market."
