Retain 2.5 Offers Lync Plug-In
We're excited to offer you the latest release of Retain -- version 2.5. We added some great new features that let you archive data beyond email. We've also made significant improvements on the publishing tool. Plus, we've made it easier for you to move your archives from one email system to another. You can actually store archives from different email systems on a single Retain server and restore emails archived from one messaging system to the other!
"With this release of Retain, GWAVA has taken archiving to the next level," explains Richard Bliss, VP of Worldwide Marketing. "We aren't just emailing any more. We're texting and sending instant messages more. And more and more those conversations are becoming important as we collaborate in different ways. Retain now archives message data with the newest collaboration systems such as Lync."
So if you're in need of this functionality, you'll want to be sure to upgrade soon. Here's what Retain 2.5 now offers:
- Supports Microsoft Exchange 2007 & 2010. In addition to email, Retain archives IM and VOIP data for OCS (Exchange 2007) and Lync (Exchange 2010).
- Provides litigation hold support for both ACL and role-based access control. Improved publisher. The Retain publisher has been extensively redesigned with great new features including a full searching filter, both PST and PDF export capabilities and redaction.
- Supports PST import and export.
- Allows any Retain-archived message to be restored into a different target Exchange system. Even GroupWise messages archived with Retain can be restored into Exchange. All Retain-archived messages can be stored on a single Retain server.
