WASP, (Web Access Server Protection), is a content scanning solution for GroupWise WebAccess. WASP plugs seamlessly into the GWAVA security solution and extends its functionality to include protection for emails sent and received via WebAccess. WASP hooks into the WebAccess servlet, working between the message composition interface of WebAccess and the WebAccess agent. This way, WASP can scan all messages for viruses and any defined content before they are sent to the GroupWise server.
