Proud about our developers

I´m now working 8 years for GWAVA and it has been a wonderful time overall. I´m not a real technical guy, so this blog-entry is based on the feedback, which I do get from our customers and partners.

Marketing of course always puts the products into spotlights, we - as well as all other software-vendors around the planet - do have the best products in the world.

Our products are very good for sure and I believe in that. From time to time, we are facing some problems - but our developers are solving them. Sometimes bugs get fixed within 24 hours, sometimes it takes longer (specially if we are dependend on other software vendors).

A couple of weeks ago we started a cross-upgrade campaign with our archiving solution Retain for GroupWise. Several customers, which have been using a competitive product so far took advantage of this offer and switched over to our product.

All of them are happy with the move so far. One customer got back to us being not satisfied. His problem was, that he thought he lost emails with our archiving solution. The storage of the archived email from the other company took 700GB in total.

Our archive instead only was 200GB "big". Storage saving of >70 %. The customer could not believe that and that was the reason to contact us. We told him to check all emails - he didn´t find one single email nor attachment, which was lost. I´m allowed to tell you that name of the customer, because he was so happy, that he did a success-story together with GWAVA.

The customer is called Prinsenstichting out of the Netherlands. More information (also the name of the competitor) could be found in our Retain products area. On GWAVACon EMEA I was able to personally meet again with our lead developer on Retain (Michael Bell). He and his team are doing an outstanding job……

But this is just about one of our products. We are really getting lots of great feedback from customers and partners about ALL our products. So again, I´m a very non-technical guy. The only thing I do understand out of all the feedback is the following: We have the best developers in the world and I´m very proud about that.
